Boluda Towage Europe assists the transport of the first foundation for Kincardine floating offshore wind farm
On 14th October 2020, the tugs of
Boluda Towage Europe escorted the incoming
Boskalis’ heavy cargo vessel Fjord, loaded with the first floating foundation
for the Kincardine floating offshore wind farm, to the Maasvlakte II in Rotterdam.
A total of five floating foundations will be transported from Ferrol in
Spain to Rotterdam, for which Boskalis has deployed the Fjord as a
semi-submersible barge.
