LNG tanker at Fluxys LNG Terminal Zeebrugge

KST ASSISTED FIRST LNG CARRIER TO THE NEW 2nd JETTY AT FLUXYS TERMINAL ZEEBRUGGE

On 8 December 2016, the LNG carrier ‘Milaha Qatar’ moored for the first time at the new 2nd jetty at the Fluxys LNG Terminal in Zeebrugge. The tugs of KST played a crucial role in this pilot project. The first unloading of a conventional LNG carrier on the new quay 616 was successfully completed. The approach, the unloading and the departure of the ship went very smoothly, thanks to a great cooperation between local authorities, pilots and the excellent manoeuvrable tugs of KST.

After succeeding this pilot project, the 2nd jetty of the Fluxys LNG Terminal can now open up the loading and unloading of LNG ships at quay 616 for the LNG market. KST is looking forward to assist a lot of LNG carriers to the Fluxys LNG Terminal.
