BOLUDA TOWAGE ASSISTED SEAFOX 4 IN ROTTERDAM

On Thursday 11 January 2024, Boluda Towage assisted the jack-up unit “SEAFOX 4” in the Port of Rotterdam. 

Boluda Towage’s tugs VB BRENT and VB GINGER sailed out from Rotterdam a day earlier to assist SEAFOX 4 from her stand-by location at the Dutch North Sea to the Port of Rotterdam. 

After arriving at Maas Entrance, the convoy was extended with the tugs VB MARS and VB KRACHT. The four tugs together assisted the jack-up unit to the mooring location in the Rotterdam Eemhaven.

SEAFOX 4 is a four-legged, self-elevating jack-up unit for accommodation, construction, maintenance, and well services. She is specifically designed to withstand harsh offshore environments and conditions and is capable of operating in water depths up to 46 meters all year round.
